Ashia Grae Wolf Wilson is towards the end of pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon as a Ford Foundation Scholar, majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Legal Studies and Native American and Indigenous Studies.
Ashia is an enrolled Klamath Tribal member and is a temporary chemist for the Klamath Tribes Ambodat Department in the Sprague River Water Quality Testing Laboratory. This work highlights the concern and protection of two endemic and endangered fish species in the Upper Klamath Basin, C’waam and Koptu.
In addition, she is also a member one Rios to Rivers board of Directors and is a senior staff on the Rios to Rivers Team. Ashia conducts research concerning rivers, climate, and Indigenous land stewardship practices that inform curriculum development for youth activists and academics. Aside from curriculum specific development, she uses her platform to continue advocating for free-flowing rivers domestically and internationally.
